A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDDING APPROVING ENTERING INTO A FIRST AMENDMENT TO
THE SIERRA PACIFIC INDUSTRIES LEASE AT REDDING
1VIiTNICIPAL AIRPORT.
BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council approves entering into a First Amendment
to Lease at the Redding Municipal Airport between the City and Sierra Pacific Industries, a
copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof.
BE IT FiTRTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is authorized to sign the First
Amendment on behalf of the City; and the City Clerk is directed to attest his signature and
impress the official seal of the City.

adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Redding on the 7th day of

FIRST AMENDMENT TO LEASE
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO LEASE is made and entered into by
and between the CITY OF REDDING, a Municipal Corporation and
General Law City, hereinafter referred to as "LESSOR, " and
SIERRA PACIFIC INDUSTRIES, hereinafter referred to as "LESSEE" :
W I T N E S S E T H:
WHEREAS, on November 25, 1986, the CITY OF REDDING entered a
Ground Lease with SIERRA PACIFIC INDUSTRIES, a California
Corporation, covering certain unimproved land at the Redding
Municipal Airport; and
WHEREAS, Sierra Pacific Industries has requested that the
City consent to and approve a Lease amendment;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is agreed by and between the parties
hereto, as follows :
1 . The CITY OF REDDING, as Lessor, does hereby consent to
the delstion of 1,000 square feet of land from the leased property
and the addition of 3, 150 square feet of land to the leased
property, such deletion and addition as more particularly
described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and made a part hereof.
2 . By this Amendment the area of the leased properties
increased from 20,000 square feet to 22, 150 square feet.
3. By this Amendment the monthly rental for the leased
property is increased form $304 . 81 to $398 . 70.
4 . The increased rental amount noted in 3 . above shall be
the basis for future rental adjustments in accordance with
paragraph 3 . of the Ground Lease Agreement.
5 . SIERRA PACIFIC INDUSTRIES consents to the provisions of
this Amendment, and does hereby covenant and agree to perform all
the terms and conditions contained in the aforesaid Ground Lease
to be performed by the Lessee, and does understand and agree that
all other terms and conditions contained in the aforesaid Lease

remain in full force and effect throughout the term thereof .
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this
First Amendment to Lease on the day of November, 1995 .
