' + • • —� RESOLUTfON NO. 96-�5�� A RESOi,UTION OF THE C[TY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING ESTABLISNING A NEW EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT PAY-FOR- PERFORMANCE SALARY PLAN FOR UNREPRESENTED EMPLOYEES, EFFECTIVE AUGUST 11, 1996. WHEREAS, the City Council has studied the current Executive Managemcnt Pay-for- Performance Plan for unrcpresented employces established by Rcsolution 96-91; and WHEREAS, the Human Rcsources Manager has rccommended that a new Executive Managcmcnt Pay-for-Pcrformancc Plan for unrcpresentcd cmployces bc cstablishcd as set for in Exhibit A effective August 1 l, 1996, in order to dcletc thc obsoletc ciassifications of Director of Planning and Cornmunity Devclopment, Director of Parks and Recreation, Police Scrvices Manager, and Sciencc Museum Manager;deletc thc contract classifications of City Manager and City Attorncy; changc the titics of Dircctor of lnformation Systcros to lnformation Systcros Managcr and thc titic of Dircctor of Airports to Airports Managcr; add the new classification of Deputy Fire Chief; and change the salary rangcs for Chief of Police and Director of Community Services; and WI-IEREAS, the City Council deems it to bc in the best interests of thc City to adopt such rccommcndations; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ItESOLV�D by the City Council that Resolution 96-91 be rescinded as of midnight, August 10, 1996; and n ncw Executive Managc►ncnt Pay-for-Performancc Plan for unrcprescntcd cmployccs bc cstablishcd as sct forth in Exhibit A, cffectivc August 1 1, 1996. 1 HEREBY CER'i'IFY that the foregoing Resolution was introduced, read, and adopted at a regular mecting of the City Council of the City of Redding on thc 6th day of August, 1996, by the following votc: AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: P• Anderson, R.
