A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
AMENDING EXHIBIT A-4 TO THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDDING AND THE REDDING EMPLOYEES
ORGAIVIZATION OF TI� SERVICE EMPLOYEES INTERNATIONAL UNION:
CLERICAL, TECHNICAL, AND PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEES' UNIT.
WHEREAS, on April 18, 1994, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 94-93 approving
the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City of Redding and the Clerical,
Technical, and Professional Employees' Unit of the Redding Employees Organization of the Service
Employees International Union; and
WHEREAS, on June 18, 1996, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 96-121 approving
Amendment No: 1 to the MOU; and
WHEREAS, the Exhibits to the MOU have been amended from time-to-time; and
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Human Resources Manager, in his
accompanying Report to the City Council, that Exhibit A-4 to the MOU be further amended to add
the classification of Senior Building Inspector, and the representatives of the bargaining unit are in
agreement.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that the MOU be amended
by repealing existing Exhibit A-4 as of midnight, November 2, 1996; and adding new Exhibit A-4,
a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, effective November 3, 1996.
I HEREBY CERTIFI'that the foregoing Resolution was introduced, read, and adopted at
a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Redding on the 5th day of November, 1996, by
the following vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: P. Anderson, Kehoe, Murray and McGeorge
NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS: R. Anderson
