Beer & Wine Policy
The MarketFest is designed to be an event where beer and wine can be enjoyed both
safely and moderately. Beer and wine will be served to and consumed by adults only
and identifications will be checked.
1. No Advertising Permitted: No beer or wine advertising of any kind will be permitted
anywhere on the event site. The only brand signage allowed will be that which provides
a means for identifying choices for customers and will be displayed only on the inside of
the service shelter.
2. No Brand Preference: No specific preference will be given to any beer or wine brand
either in the form of sponsorship or in the service of product.
3. Consumption Will Be Controlled: Beer and wine will be priced high deliberately to
avoid over-consumption.
4. Service Shelter: Beer and wine will be served only from a service shelter on
premise. Consumption will be restricted to the park boundaries.
5. Entry-Exit Control: All points of event entry and exit will be controlled and monitored
at all times during event operation by identifiable Event Staff (see Security Procedure 2.)
6. Sales Stoppage: If, in the opinion of the Event Director, beer and wine consumption
appears to be or will be excessive on a given evening, beer and wine sales will be
stopped immediately for the remainder of the evening.
