PAST.�M AUG 2 7 1997 WHEN RECORDED RETURN TO � �_����°� �� R�CCORDING EE�S e THE AREA ABOVE IS RESERVED FOR RECORDER'S USE ��SC�I�U T� n N Na q '� - ( 3 2- DOCUMENT TITLE(S) "Separate Page" pursuant to Government Code §27361.6 : � :3589Pa�E40� . : •� -- . � � x�soLUTioN l�-/3� , � , RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING TO BEGIN ABATEMENT PROCEEDINGS ON THE REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 703 LELAND COURT, CURRENTLY OWNED BY GREG BERGLAND WHEREAS,the provisions of Redding Municipal Code Chapter 9.36 provide that all buildings and structures located within the City which are structurally unsafe, or are partially destroyed by fire, or dilapidated from old age,neglect,decay or other causes,and which constitute a fire menace or are dangerous to human life, or a likely resort for vagrant or dissolute persons may be abated as provided in Redding Municipal Code Chapter 9.36; and WHEREAS, the Building Official or his or her representative has made an inspection of the buildings and/or structures located on the real property described as: 703 Leland Court Assessor's Parcel Number: 108-010-26 That portion of Section 14 of the P. B. Reading Grant described as follows: COMMENCING at a point on the East boundary of Leland Avenue, whence, the Northeast corner of Lot 4, Lassen View Subdivision bears North 39°41'03" West a distance of 1996.46 feet and running thence, South 64°30'30" East 376.58 feet to the true point of beginning of this description; beginning at said point and running thence, South 64°30'30" East 107.74 feet; thence, South 41°24'02" West on and along the Easterly boundary of the Favretto Tract 101.38 feet; thence, North 64°30'30" West 80.0 feet; thence, North 25°29'30" East 97.50 feet to the point of beginning. WHEREAS, the Building Official believes the buildings and/or structures located at the above- referenced property constitute a public nuisance that should be abated pursuant to Redding Municipal Code Chapter 9.36; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council that abatement proceedings commence pursuant to Redding Municipal Code Chapter 9.36 for the buildings and/or structures located on the above-referenced property. The Building Official and the Fire Marshal are directed to institute abatement proceedings as provided by Redding Municipal Code Chapter 9.36. The City Clerk is directed to record a certified copy of this resolution with the county recorder. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was introduced, read, and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council on the 19`h day of August, 1997, by the following vote: AYES: COiJNCIL MEMBERS: R.
