RCSOLUTION 9�/7.� RESOLUTION OF THC CITY COUNCIL O1� THE CITY OF REDDING TO 13CG[N AI3ATEMENT PROCEEDINGS ON THE RCAL � PItOYCRTY LOCATCD AT 1029 VILW AVENUE, CURRENTLY OWNCD BY EMILY AND I3RIAN I3RADY. WHERCAS, the provisions of Redding Municipal Code Chapter 9.36 provide that all buildings aud structures located within the City which are structurally unsafe, or are partially destroyed by tire, or dilapidated from old age, �Ieglect, decay or other causes, and which constitute a tire menace or ace dangerous to human life, or a likely resort tor vagrant oc dissolute persons may be abated as provided in Redding Municipal Code Chapter 9.3C; and WHERCAS, the Building Official or his or her representative has made an exterior inspectio�i of the buildings located on the real pcoperty described as: 1029 View Avenue Assessor's Parcel Number: ]07-240-08 The North 40.00 feet of tlle West 80.00 feet of Lot 6, Block L and the West 80.00 feet of Lot 7, as shown on the map of Rockaway Subdivision. WHCREAS, tlle Building Official believes the buildings located at the above-referenced pcoperty constitute a public nuisance that should be abated pursuant to Redding Municipal Code Chapter 9.36; " NOW, THCREFORC, 1T [S HEREI3Y RESOLVED by the City Council that abatement proceedings commenee pucsuant to Reddii�g Municipal Code Chapter 9.36 for the buildii�gs located on the above-referenced property. The Building Official and the Fire Marshal are directed to institute abatement proceedings as provided by Redding Municipal Code Chapter 9.36. The City Clerk is directed to record a certified copy of this resolution with the County Recorder.
