HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 97-160 - Amending Executive Mgmt Pay for Perf Salary for Unrepresented Emp & Exempt Emp Schedule Supervisory/Confidential Emp Unit i.._. :t � ' • RESOLUTION NO. 97-�0 • A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING AMENDING THE EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT PAY-FOR- PERFORMANCE SALARY PLAN FOR UNREPRESENTED EMPLOYEES AND THE EXEMPT (PAY-FOR-PERFORMANCE) EMPLOYEE SCHEDULE OF CLASSIFICATIONS AND SALARY RANGES OF THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING ENTERED INTO BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDDING AND THE REDDING EMPLOYEES ORGANIZATION OF THE SERVICE EMPLOYEES INTERNATIONAL UNION— SUPERVISORY/CONFIDENTIAL EMPLOYEES' UNIT. WHEREAS, the City Council has studied the current Executive Management Pay-for- Performance Plan, as previously amended by Resolution 97-116, and the the Exempt (Pay-for- Performance) Employee Schedule of Classifications and Salary Ranges in the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Redding and the Redding Employees Organization of the Service Employees International Unioi�--Supervisory/Confidential Employees' Unit, amended June 5, 1997, and WHEREAS, the Human Resources Manager has recommended that the classification of Code Enforcement Supervisor be removed from the Executive Management Pay-for-Performance Plan for unrepresented employees, as set forth in Exhibit A, and added to the Exempt (Pay-for- Performance) Employee Schedule of Classifications and Salary Ranges in the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Redding and the Redding Employees Organization of the Service Employees International Uniorr—Supervisory/Confidential Employees' Unit, as set forth in Exhibit B, effective September 21,1997, and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City to adopt such recommendation; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council that the Executive Management Pay-for-Performance Salary Plan for unrepresented employees and the Exempt (Pay-for-Performance) Employee Schedule of Classifications and Salary Ranges in the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Redding and the Redding Employees Organization of the Service Employees International Union--Supervisory/Confidential Employees' Unit, be amended, as set forth in Exhibits A and B, respectively, effective September 21, 1997.
