Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance 2077 - Amending Chapter 10.20 ORDINANCE - `C�7 7 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING AMENDING REDDING MUNICIPAL CODE CHAPTER 10.20, PUBLIC PARKS—PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES. The City Council of the City of Redding does hereby ordain as follows: Section 1: Redding Municipal Code Chapter 10. 20 is hereby amended as follows: I . By adding the following parks to Section 10. 20. 030 A. l. , Park Hours: Country Heights Park Creekside Park Indian Hills Park Ravenwood Park Ridgeview Park Western Oaks Park. II . By changing all references to "Civic Auditorium" in Section 10. 20. 040 to read "Convention Center. " III . By repealing Section 10 .20.040 A. 2. , and adding the following Section 10. 20 . 040 A. 2. : This prohibition shall not apply to the interiors of the Convention Center; the Rodeo arena, grandstands, bleachers, and bar; and the Redding Rodeo Association clubhouse buildings and caretaker' s quarters; nor shall this prohibition apply to those events/areas which are under contract to the City through the Convention Center. Any necessary consents in order for a Convention Center user to acquire an alcoholic beverage control permit may be given by the City Manager. IV. By adding the following parks to Section 10. 20. 040 B. 1. , Possession or Consumption of Alcoholic Beverages in City Parks: Country Heights Park Creekside Park Indian Hills Park Ravenwood Park Ridgeview Park N) Western Oaks Park. • V. By repealing Section 10. 20. 040 B. 2.b. , and adding the following Section 10. 20.040 B. 2.b. : Obtained any necessary alcoholic beverage control permit for the event; the consent required to be submitted to permitting authority may be given by the City Manager. Section 2. It has been determined that this matter is categorically exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act. Section 3 . The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and cause its publication according to law.
