HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 2133 - Adding Title 2.12.030 ORDINANCE NO. � AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING ADDING SECTION 2.12.030, CONTRACTS FOR SPECIAL SERVICES, TO THE REDDING MUNICIPAL CODE. The City Council of the City of Redding does ordain as follows: Section 1. There is hereby added to the Redding Municipal Code Section 2.12.030, which is to read as follows: 2.12.030 Contracts for Special Services. The City Attorney may enter into contracts for special legal and expert services to represent the City in connection with pending or threatened litigation if the persons providing the services are specially trained, experienced, and competent to perform the special services required. Any contracts entered into pursuant to this section shall not exceed $25,000. Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect 30 days after the date of its adoption. Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause its publication according to law.
