Also present were: City Manager Barry Tippin, Assistant City Manager Sheri DeMaagd, City Attorney Barry E. DeWalt, Public Works Director Chuck Aukland, and Executive Assistant Anette Cates. CLOSED SESSION At the hour of 5:15 p.m., Mayor Winter opened the Special Meeting and announced that the Council would adjourn to Closed Session. At the hour of 5:59 p.m., Mayor Winter reconvened the Special Meeting to Open Session and reported that in reference to: 3A. Closed Session pursuant to California Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(1): CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - EXISTING LITIGATION Baker, et al. v. City of Redding,et al.; Shasta County Superior Court Case No. 192661 Pursuant to Government Code section 54957.1(a), the City Council took no reportable action on this item. 3B. Closed Session pursuant to California Government Code Section 54957.6: CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATOR Designated Agency Representative: Assistant City Manager/Personnel Director DeMaagd Employee Organizations: 1. Redding Independent Employees' Organization - Clerical, Technical and Professional Employees' Unit 2. Redding Independent Employees' Organization - Supervisory & Confidential Unit 3. United Public Employees of California— Redding Technical Unit 4. Unrepresented Employees Pursuant to Government Code section 54957.1(a), the City Council took no reportable action on this item.
