A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
AUTHORIZING AND DESIGNATING THE FOLLOWING STAFF AS
NEGOTIATORS FOR THE WATER INFRASTRUCTURE
IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE NATION (WIIN) ACT CONTRACT
CONVERSION PROCESS
WHEREAS, the City of Redding wishes to participate in the contract conversion process
of the Water Infrastructure Improvements for the Nation (WIIN) Act with the United States
Bureau of Reclamation; and
WHEREAS, the City of Redding is a Reclamation water contractor providing water to a
population of approximately 92,500 people; and
WHEREAS, the City or Redding is required to assign negotiators to begin the
conversion process of the City's contract with the United State Bureau of Reclamation (Contract
No. 14-06-200-5272A-LTR1); and
WHEREAS, the City of Redding the City desires to assign the following staff as
negotiators for the conversion process: Lynette Frediani, Assistant City Attorney; Chuck
Aukland, Director of Public Works; Ryan Bailey, Assistant Director of Public Works — Utilities;
Josh Watkins, Water Utility Manager;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Redding authorizes and designates the above named staff as negotiators for the WIIN Act
contract conversion process for the City's water contract. (Contract No. 14-06-200-5272A-
LTR 1).
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Redding on the 15th day of January, 2019, and was duly
adopted at said meeting by the following vote:

NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None
