The meeting was called to order by Mayor Dickerson with the following Council Members
present: Bosetti, Jones, Murray, and Stegall.
Also present were City Manager Starman, City Attorney Duvernay, and Assistant City Manager
Bachman.

At the hour of 6: 15 p.m., Mayor Dickerson announced that the City Council would adjourn to
closed session to discuss the following:
Closed session pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.8
CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATOR
Property located at 1094 Hilltop Drive
Agency Negotiator: City Manager Starman
. Negotiating Parties: City of Redding and John Reger (Bankruptcy Trustee)
Under Negotiation: Price and Terms for acquisition of road and utility easement

Property located at Fig Tree Lane between Digger Lane and Aviator Lane
Assessors Parcel No. 056-100-005
Agency Negotiator: City Manager Starman
Negotiating Parties: City of Redding and Manalis Family Trust
Under Negotiation: Price and terms for acquisition of road and utility easement

At the hour of7:00 p.m., Mayor Dickerson reconvened the Special Meeting to open session
and reported that with respect to conference with real property negotiator relative to 1094
Hilltop Drive an offer for acquisition has been accepted in concept and will be made public
when a purchase agreement is drafted and approved by a bankruptcy court. He advised that
there was no reportable action taken regarding the Fig Tree Lane property.

PROPOSED PURCHASE AGREEMENT - Manalis Family Trust for acquisition of a road
and utility easement across property generally located at Fig Tree Lane between Digger Lane
and A viator Lane, Assessor Parcel Number 056-1 00-005, and authorize the Mayor to execute
all documents.

MOTION: Made by Council Member Stegall, seconded by Council Member Murray
authorizing the Mayor to execute a Purchase Agreement and all necessary documents for
acquisition of .67 acre road and utility easement located at Fig Tree Lane between Digger
Lane and Aviator Lane, Assessor Parcel Number 056-100-005 from the Manalis Family
Trust for the appraised value of$232,000 to provide access to the Stillwater Business Park.
The Vote: Unanimous Ayes
There being no further business, at the hour of 7:00 p.m., Mayor Dickerson declared the
meeting adjourned.
