City Council, Special Meeting

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Bosetti with the following Council Members
present: Dickerson, Jones, McArthur, and Stegall.
Also present were City Manager Starman, Assistant City Manager Tippin, City Attorney
Duvernay, and Personnel Director Johnson.
At the hour of 6:00 p.m., Mayor Bosetti announced that the City Council would adjourn to
closed session to discuss the following:

At the hour of 6:58 p.m., Mayor Bosetti reconvened the Special Meeting to open session and
reported that with regard to the anticipated litigation issue, the City Council,. by unanimous
vote, authorized the City Manager to execute a settlement and release agreement in
connection with a claim filed by Paul and Pam Tobolsky in relation"to a sewer line backup
at 2565 North Street. The claim is being settled in the total amount of $30,136.03 to
reimburse claimants for actual costs incurred in repairing the damage, for the loss of$1 ,355
in personal property, and $2013.47 for installation of a backflow prevention device. With
regard to the remaining items, he advised that there was no reportable action taken.
There being no further business, at the hour of? :00 p.m., Mayor Bosetti declared the meeting
adjourned.
