City Council, Special Meeting

July 19, 2005 6:00 p.m.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Mathena with the following Council Members
present: Dickerson, Murray, Pohlmeyer, and Stegall.
Also present were City Attorney Warren, Assistant City Manager Perry, Assistant City
Manager Starman, City Attorney Duvernay, Fire Chief Fry, and Personnel Director Johnson.
At the hour of 6:00 p.m., Mayor Mathena announced that the City Council would adjourn
to closed session to discuss the following:

At the hour of7:00 p.m., Mayor Mathena reconvened the Special Meeting to open session
and advised that there was no reportable action taken with the exception of the matter
involving anticipated litigation. He reported that by unanimous vote, the City Council
authorized legal counsel to intervene, if deemed prudent, in the pending litigation referenced
above.
There being no further business, at the hour of 7:00 p.m., Mayor Mathena declared the
meeting adjourned.
