I Also present were City Attorney Warren, Assistant City Manager Perry, Assistant City Manager Starman, and City Attorney Duvernay. ' At the hour of 6: 15 p.m., Mayor Mathena announced that the City Council would adjourn to closed session to discuss the following: Closed session pursuant to California Government Code Section 54956.8: CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATOR Property identified as Assessor Parcel Number 055-250-15, approximately 64 acres of real property located on Riverland Drive west ofInterstate 5 Freeway, south of Clover Road and north of the Sacramento River Agency Negotiator: Assistant City Manager Perry Negotiating parties: City of Re4ding and Dave Abbot Under negotiation: Terms (C-070-100) I Closed session pursuant to California Government Code Section 54956.8: CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATOR Property located at 900 and 950 Lake Boulevard identified as Assessor Parcel Numbers 113- 120-011 and 113-120-012 Agency Negotiator: Assistant City Manager Starman and Community Services Director Niemer Negotiating parties: City of Redding and Don D. Davis Under negotiation: Price and Terms (C-070-01O) Closed session pursuant to California Government Code Section 54956.9(a): CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - EXISTING LITIGATION McFadden v. City of Redding, Shasta County Superior Court, Case No. 153044 (L-100) Closed session pursuant to California Government Code Section 54956.9(c): CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - ANTICIPATED LITIGATION Initiation of litigation ( one case) (L-100) At the hour of7:00 p.m., Mayor Mathena reconvened the Special Meeting to open session and advised that there was no reportable action taken with the exception of the matter involving anticipated litigation. He reported that by unanimous vote, the City Council authorized legal counsel to intervene, if deemed prudent, in pending litigation referenced above.
