The meeting was called to order by Mayor Mathena with the following Council Members
present: Dickerson, Kight, and Murray.
Also present were City Manager Warren, Assistant City Manager Perry, Assistant City
Manager Starman, City Attorney Duvernay.
At the hour of 6: 15 p.m., Mayor Mathena announced that the City Council would adjourn
to closed session to discuss the following:

At the hour of7:00 p.m., Mayor Mathena reconvened the Special Meeting to open session
and advised that with regard to the Anticipated Litigation, the City Council has taken action
to accept a settlement offer of $125,000.00 over a potential claim of $150,000 against
Chatsworth Products, Inc. for failure to perform in connection with a Job Credit and Fee
Deferral Payment Agreement executed on May 4, 2000.
Mayor Mathena reported that with regard to Property Negotiations, there was no reportable
action taken.
There being no further business, at the hour of 7:00 p.m., Mayor Mathena declared the
meeting adjourned.
