Also present were City Manager Warren, Assistant City Manager Perry, Assistant City Manager Starman, City Attorney Duvernay. At the hour of 6: 15 p.m., Mayor Mathena announced that the City Council would adjourn to closed session to discuss the following: Closed session pursuant to California Government Code Section 54956.9(c): CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - ANTICIPATED LITIGATION Initiation oflitigation (one case) (L-IOO) I Closed session pursuant to California Government Code Section 54956.8 CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATOR Property located at 610 and 620 Chum Creek Road, identified as Assessor's Parcel Numbers 117-250-003 and 117-250-010 and property located west of Churn Creek Road identified as Assessor's Parcel Numbers 117-230-008, 117-230-002, and 117-230-003 Agency Negotiator: City Manager Warren cind City Treas~rer Clark Negotiating parties: City of Redding and Evelyn H. McCallum, Laurie C. McCallum, John S. McCallum ofBHS Investments Under negotiation: Price (C-070-010) At the hour of7:00 p.m., Mayor Mathena reconvened the Special Meeting to open session and advised that with regard to the Anticipated Litigation, the City Council has taken action to accept a settlement offer of $125,000.00 over a potential claim of $150,000 against Chatsworth Products, Inc. for failure to perform in connection with a Job Credit and Fee Deferral Payment Agreement executed on May 4, 2000. Mayor Mathena reported that with regard to Property Negotiations, there was no reportable action taken.
