City Council, Special Meeting
Council Chambers

Redding, California
March 19,20026:30 p.m.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Kight with the following Council Members
present: Cibula, McGeorge, and Stegall. Council Member Pohlmeyer was absent.
Also present were City Manager Warren, Assistant City Manager Perry, Assistant City I
Attorney Tranberg, and Administrative Services Director Bachman.
At the hour of 6:30 p.m., Mayor Kight announced that the City Council would adjourn to
closed session to discuss the items listed below. At the hour of 7:00 p.m. Mayor Kight
reconvened the meeting to open session and reported the following:
Closed session pursuant to California Government Code Section 54957.6:
CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATOR
Designated Agency Representative: Randy Bachman
Employee Organization: Peace Officers Association of Redding

Closed session pursuant to California Government Code Section 54956.8:
CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATOR
Proposed sale of City-owned property located at 3637 Thunderbird Drive (Lot 5 of the
Redding Municipal Airport Business Park)
Negotiating parties: Phil Perry and Nancy Morrow
Under negotiation: Price and terms of sale

Mayor Kight reported that City Attorney Wingate announce~ he is retiring effective July,
2002, and discussions were held regarding the recruitment process.
There being no further business, at the hour of7:00 p.m., Mayor Kight declared the meeting
adjourned.
