Council member Kight was absent. Also present were City Manager Warren, Assistant City Manager Perry, City Attorney Wingate, Development Services Director Hamilton, City Engineer Goodwin, Senior Planner Keany, Senior Planner DeMallie, City Clerk Strohmayer, and Executive Secretary Stribley. I )- 1 ~ ~ ~ ;.. l 2 1- !" ~ f 1 ~ . ~ , J ~ t . f ( \ r ~ l 1 t ~ ~ PUBLIC HEARING re Appeal of Tentative Subdivision Map S-4-93, Spring Hill Park, by McConnell Foundation, located adjacent to and east of Chum Creek Road and north of Edgewood Drive in a "U-FP" Unclassified District with Floodplain Combining District (S-101-003) The appellant, The McConnell Foundation submitted an appeal of the Planning Commission's decision to grant a two-year extension of the Spring Hill Park Tentative Subdivision Map (S-4-93) developed by Mike Wells. The Spring Hill Park Subdivision consists of 312 single-family residential lots, approximately 30 acres of open space, and a 9.5 acre public park site for a total of 154 acres. Mayor McGeorge announced that the applicant and the appellant jointly requested that the public hearing not be opened and the matter be continued to the regular City Council meeting on December 4,2001, as they are in negotiations for sale of the Spring Hill Park Subdivision. He added that if the sale comes to fruition the public hearing will no longer be necessary. He asked that a motion for continuance be made in order to allow the parties to negotiate in good faith without involvement of the City. I MOTION: Made by Council Member Pohlmeyer, seconded by Council Member Cibula continuing the public hearing of the appeal of Tentative Subdivision Map S-4-93 to the regular City Council meeting of December 4,2001.
