City Council, Special Meeting
Council Chambers

September 18, 2001 6:45 p.m.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor McGeorge with the following Council Members
present: Cibula, Pohlmeyer, Stegall, and Kight.

Also present were City Manager Warren, Assistant City Manager Perry, Deputy City
Manager Starman, and City Attorney Wingate.
At the hour of 6:45 p.m., Mayor McGeorge announced that the City Council would adjourn
to closed session to discuss the following:

Mayor McGeorge reconvened the meeting to open session at the hour of 6:59 p.m. He stated
that no reportable action was taken.
PUBLIC COMMENT
REDDING PLUNGE (AQUATIC CENTER)
(P-050-700-600 & P-050-460-700)
City Manager Warren reported that the Shasta County Board of Supervisors, at its meeting
today, approved $350,000 to assist with the Redding Plunge project and the City, in turn, will
extend the Sacramento River Trail to Silver Creek.

There being no further business, at the hour of 7:00 p.m., Mayor McGeorge declared the
meeting adjourned.
