Code §6103 AT NF A.P.N. 068-740-024 & 068-740-025 RESOLUTION NO. 2018-052 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING SUMMARILY VACATING THE CITY'S INTEREST OF THE 15 FOOT DRAINAGE EASEMENT "C" AS SHOWN ON SUBDIVISION MAP NO. S-11-02, EAST OAK ESTATES SUBDIVISION, RECORDED IN BOOK 23 OF MAPS, PAGE 90 WHEREAS: A. Drainage Easement "C" being considered for summary vacation was acquired by the recordation of the Subdivision Map No. S-11-02, East Oak Estates Subdivision for Gloria Delaney, recorded on January 9, 2006, in Book 23 of Maps, Page 90, Shasta County records. QJ B. Drainage Easement "C" has been superseded in location by the recordation of the Easement Deed recorded on April 11, 2018, as Document No. 2018-0009470, Shasta CC County Records. Therefore, the owners of the property have asked that the City vacate Drainage Easement "C," described in Exhibit "A" and shown on Exhibit "B" attached and made a part hereof by reference. 0 C. The summary vacation falls within the criteria of CEQA Section 15305 and is categorically exempt. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL DETERMINES, RESOLVES, AND ORDERS AS FOLLOWS: 1. The City Council elects to proceed in this matter under the provisions of the California Streets and Highways Code, Section 8333. 2. The City Council approves the request to summarily vacate Drainage Easement "C" as described in Exhibit"A" and shown hatched on Exhibit "B." 3. Drainage Easement "C" has been superseded in location. 4. This proposed vacation would not result in any significant environmental impacts and falls within the criteria of a CEQA Section 15305 and is categorically exempt. 5. The City Clerk is directed to cause a certified copy of this resolution of vacation, attested by the Clerk under seal, to be recorded in the office of the Shasta County Assessor/Recorder. I HEREBY CERTIFY, that the foregoing resolution was introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Redding City Council on the 5th day of June, 2018, by the following vote.
