Code §6103 A.P.N. 101-790-015 h c I P Ct RESOLUTION NO. 2018-053 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING SUMMARILY VACATING THE CITY'S INTEREST OF THE EASEMENTS APPURTENANT TO PARCEL A AND PARCEL B OF THE AMENDED PARCEL MAP FOR C. M. DICKER INC. WHEREAS: A. Easements being considered for summary vacation were acquired by that grant deed recorded on February 8, 1973, in book 1156, Page 51 Shasta County Records and shown on Amended Parcel Map for C. M. Dicker, recorded on January 30, 1973 in Book 2 of Parcel Maps at Page 113 Shasta County Records and are listed as follows: Parcels 15 through 18, Easements for ducts, conduits vents and related facilities; Easement 2 for use of land beneath parking structure; Stairwell Parcels 1 through 3, Easements for pedestrian ingress, egress and access; and Easement for vehicular ingress and egress. B. Easements are considered excess with the demolition of the Parking Structure and Building located on APN 101-790-015. Therefore, the owner of the property has asked that the City vacate Easements appurtenant to Parcel A and Parcel B as shown on Exhibit "A" attached and made a part hereof by reference. C. The summary vacation falls within the criteria of CEQA Section 15305 and is categorically exempt. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL DETERMINES, RESOLVES, AND ORDERS AS FOLLOWS: 1. The City Council elects to proceed in this matter under the provisions of the California Streets and Highways Code, Section 8333. 2. The City Council approves the request to summarily vacate Easements appurtenant to Parcel A and Parcel B as shown on the Amended Parcel Map for C. M. Dicker attached as Exhibit "A." 3. Easements are considered excess. 4. This proposed vacation would not result in any significant environmental impacts and falls within the criteria of a CEQA Section 15305 and is categorically exempt. 5. The City Clerk is directed to cause a certified copy of this resolution of vacation, attested by the Clerk under seal, to be recorded in the office of the Shasta County Assessor/Recorder.
