HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2017-127 - California minimum wage RESOLUTION NO. 2017-127 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING AMENDING THE SCHEDULE OF PART-TIME UNREPRESENTED EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATIONS, EFFECTIVE DECEMBER 31, 2017 WHEREAS, staff has recommended that the Schedule of Part-Time Unrepresented Employee Classifications and Wage Rates/Ranges be amended, effective December 31, 2017, in order to provide increases to the unrepresented part-time employee classifications assigned to the Recreation Division, Redding Police Department, and Redding Fire Department, to reflect the changes being made to California minimum wage; and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City to adopt such recommendation; NOW,THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council that the Schedule of Part-Time Unrepresented Employee Classifications and Wage Rates/Ranges be amended, effective December 31, 2017, in order to provide increases to the unrepresented part-time employee classifications assigned to the Recreation Division, Police Department and Fire Department, to reflect the changes being made to California minimum wage.
