A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
AMENDING THE EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT PAY-FOR-
PERFORMANCE SALARY PLAN AND THE NON-EXEMPT EMPLOYEE
SCHEDULE OF CLASSIFICATIONS AND HOURLY WAGE RATES FOR
THE SERVICE EMPLOYEES INTERNATIONAL UNION—CLERICAL,
TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL UNIT, EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 5,
2000.
WHEREAS, the Administrative Services Director has recommended that the Executive
Management Pay-for-Performance Salary Plan for unrepresented employees, which was previously
amended by Resolution No. 2000-124, be further amended as set forth in Exhibit A, effective
November 5, 2000, in order to add the classification of Senior Personnel Analyst; retitle the
classification of Human Resources Manager to Personnel Manager; modify the salary range of
the Electric Utility Project Coordinator, combine the classifications of Electric Utility Power
Production Manager and Electric Utility Power Control Manager and retitle as Electric Utility Power
Manager; and eliminate the unused classifications of Electric Utility General Foreman, Supervising
Electric Utility Distribution Planner, and Electric Utility Rates and Economics Analyst; and
WHEREAS, the Administrative Services Director has also recommended that the Non-
Exempt Employee Schedule of Classifications and Hourly Wage Rates for the Service Employees
International Union—Clerical, Technical and Professional Unit be amended as set forth in
Exhibit "A-4," effective November 5, 2000, in order to add the classification of Utility Support
Technician; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City to adopt such
recommendations;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council that the
Executive Management Pay-for-Performance Salary Plan for unrepresented employees be amended,
as set forth in Exhibit A, and the Non-Exempt Employee Schedule of Classifications and Hourly
Wage Rates for the Service Employees International Union—Clerical, Technical and Professional
Unit be amended, as set forth in Exhibit A-4, effective November 5, 2000.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was introduced, read, and adopted at
a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Redding on the 7th day of November, 2000, by
the following vote:
