A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
AMENDING THE NON-EXEMPT EMPLOYEE SCHEDULE OF
CLASSIFICATIONS AND HOURLY WAGE RATES AND EXEMPT
EMPLOYEE SCHEDULE OF CLASSIFICATIONS AND SALARY RANGES
FOR THE SERVICE EMPLOYEES INTERNATIONAL UNION—
SUPERVISORY/CONFIDENTIAL UNIT,EFFECTIVE DECEMBER 9,2001.
WHEREAS,the Administrative Services Director has recommended that the Non-Exempt
Employee Schedule of Classifications and Hourly Wage Rates and the Exempt Employee Schedule
of Classifications and Salary Ranges for the Service Employees International Union—
Supervisory/Confidential Unit, be amended as set forth in Exhibits "A-1" and "B-1," effective
December 9, 2001, in order to add the classifications of Legal Assistant, Inspection Services
Supervisor, and Electric Utility Distribution Technician Supervisor; change the title of the
classifications of Information Systems Supervisor to Information Technology Supervisor and A/S
400 Administrator to Systems Administrator; and delete the classification of Building Inspection
Supervisor; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best interests of the City to adopt such
recommendations;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council that the Non-
Exempt Employee Schedule of Classifications and Hourly Wage Rates and the Exempt Employee
Schedule of Classifications and Salary Ranges for the Service Employees International
Union—Supervisory/Confidential Unit be amended as set forth in Exhibits "A-1," and "B-1,"
effective December 9, 2001.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was introduced, read, and adopted at
a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Redding on the 4th day of December, 2001, by
the following vote:
