HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2001-093 - Fish Screen Rehabilitation RESOLUTION NO. 2001- 7.5- A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT NO. 00FC200139 WITH THE BUREAU OF RECLAMATION FOR THE WATER UTILITY FISH SCREEN REHABILITATION PROJECT (CALFED PSP ACTION #99-B01). WHEREAS, on August 8, 2000, by Resolution 2000-134, the City Council approved entering into Cooperative Agreement No.00FC200139 between the United States Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, and the City of Redding in the amount of $495,400 ("Agreement")for the funding of the installation of a positive fish screen barrier on City of Redding Pumphouse #1; and WHEREAS, the Bureau of Reclamation and the City of Redding wish to modify the Agreement to (a) change the scope of work from design and installation of a fish screen barrier to a feasibility study of relocating Pumphouse#1 and(b) increase the amount of funding by$90,000; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby authorizes an Amendment to Cooperative Agreement No. 00FC200139 to change the scope of work to a feasibility study of relocating Pumphouse #1 and to increase the amount of funding by $90,000. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Assistant City Manager is authorized to sign the Amendment on behalf of the City, as well as any supplemental grant applications or agreements required to finalize the Project documents prior to contract award; and the City Clerk is directed to impress the official seal of the City and attest the signature of the Assistant City Manager.
