A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDDING ADOPTING THE MITIGATED NEGATIVE
DECLARATION AND AMENDING THE GENERAL PLAN
DIAGRAM OF THE CITY BY ADOPTING GENERAL PLAN
AMENDMENT RELATING TO THE HILLTOP DEVELOPMENT
INC. PROPERTY (APN# 073-540-014-000 AND 113-300-035-000)
CONSISTING OF 9.1 ACRES LOCATED AT 1110 PRESTIGE WAY
AND 741 REDWOOD BOULEVARD (GPA-2016-00804)
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the General Plan on October 3, 2000; and
WHEREAS, the amendment to the General Plan Diagram is desired to allow development of a
expansion of an RV storage facility and is consistent with surrounding development patterns as
identified in the General Plan Amendment GPA-2016-00804; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a duly noticed public hearing pertaining to said
amendments on December 13, 2016, for GPA-2016-00804, and recommended that the City
Council adopt amendments to the General Plan Diagram as described on the attached exhibits;
and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed pertinent documents prepared in
accordance with the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act and
recommended that the Mitigated Negative Declaration be adopted for GPA-2016-00804 after
consideration of all testimonial and written evidence submitted prior to and during the
aforementioned public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a duly noticed public hearing on GPA-2016-00804 on
January 17, 2017;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Redding
California as follows: i
1. The above recitations are true and correct. O

2. The City Council has reviewed the proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration and has
determined that the actions contemplated will not have an adverse impact on the
environment. C

3. The City Council hereby adopts the Mitigated Negative Declaration for GPA-2016-00804
as referred to the City Council by the Planning Commission.
4. The City Council hereby adopts the attached amendments to the General Plan Diagram
pertaining to GPA-2016-00804 as referred to the City Council by the Planning
Commission.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was introduced, read, and adopted at a
regular meeting of the City Council on the 17th day of January, 2017, by the following vote:
