A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REDDING OBLIGATING THE CITY OF REDDING TO EXPEND
THE PROCEEDS OF THE SALE OF EXCESS LAND AT THE
REDDING MUNICIPAL AIRPORT UPON SAID AIRPORT
WITHIN A FIVE-YEAR PERIOD
WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration has advised the City of Redding that
the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration has adopted a policy requirement that,
as a condition of the release of excess land for sale from the terms, conditions and assurances
contained in the various grant agreements under which the United States of America participated
in the cost of land and/or improvements at the Redding Municipal Airport, the City shall agree to.
spend an amount equal to the net proceeds which will or can be derived from such sale for
specified items of airport improvement, as set forth herein, within a specific time; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redding has approved the proposed sale of
the parcel .more particularly described in Exhibits "A," "B," "C" and "D" attached hereto and
made a part hereof, subject to its release for that purpose by the Federal Aviation Administration,
and recognizes the need for the continued provision of adequate public airport facilities to be
provided the residents of the City of Redding, Shasta County, California.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that in consideration of the Federal Aviation
Administration's approval and release for sale of the parcel, more particularly described in
Exhibit "A" and "B" attached hereto and made a part hereof, at the Redding Municipal Airport,
the CITY COUNCIL DOES HEREBY PROMISE, COVENANT AND AGREE with, the
Federal Aviation Administration of the United States of America, within five years from the date
of close of escrow, to expend the net proceeds which result from the sale of said land for the
maintenance and operation of the Redding Municipal Airport within the following categories:
A. Approved items of airport development set forth in FAR Part 152 (and, as
appropriate, set forth in the National Plan of Integrated Airport System
[NPIAS] by priority of need), to be accomplished in accordance with
currently applicable FAA design criteria.
B. Any aeronautical items of airport development ineligible for direct federal -
aid under the. Airport Development Aid Program.
C. Deposit to the airport fund for deferred use within a reasonable time for 1 -6 -
items in A and B above.
D. Retirement of airport bonds which are secured by pledges of airport O
revenue, including repayment of loans from other federal agencies for
such development. C
E. Development of common -use facilities and utilities of the dedicated (
revenue production property & the airport now owned .or subsequently
acquired.
F. Current expenses for. repair, maintenance and operation of airport, use
properties.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that ,the City" .Council empowers, authorizes and directs
the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the United States, of America, acting 'by and through_
the Federal, Aviation Administration, for the purpose of binding the City "of Redding to all its
promises, covenants and agreements set forth in, this resolution.

All that property situated in Section 34, Township 31 North, Range 4 West, M.D.B.&M, in the
City of Redding, County of Shasta, State of California, more particularly described as follows:
COMMENCING at the center of said Section 34, as shown on the Record of Survey filed in Book
44 of Land Surveys at Page 106, Shasta County Records;
THENCE North 1"19'10" East, 24.21;
THENCE South 89'23'36" East, 245.73 as shown on said map;
THENCE continuing South 89°23'36" East, 110.81 feet;
THENCE North 0"36'24" East, 12.00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING of this description;
THENCE South 8923'36" East,, 270.27 feet to the beginning of a curve to the left;
THENCE northerly along said curve to the left having a radius of 30.00 feet and a central angle
of 105°03'41", an arc distance of 55.01 feet to the beginning reverse curve to the right;

to the airport and to each runway at the airport in accordance with the applicable provisions of
Federal Aviation Administration regulations set forth in 14 C.F.R. §§77.21-77.29 (as the same
may be amended from time to time), to an indefinite height above said imaginary surfaces over
the first above described real property.
The rights herein reserved shall include the right in such airspace to allow, make and emit such
noise, vibration, ,fumes dust and :fuel particles as may be inherent: to the operation of aircraft
now known or hereafter used for navigation of or flight in the air.
Flights below, minimum easement elevation or louder than the rn'aAmum ,easement noise level

Public Service Easement 1
All that real property situated in Section 34, Township 21 North, Range 4 West, M.D.B.&M, in
the City of Redding, County of Shasta, State of California, lying in and between that parcel
described as "3680 MEADOW VIEW DRIVE PROPERTY" in EXHIBIT A and the following described
line:
COMMENCING at the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING as described in said EXHIBIT A;
THENCE North 0'36'24" East, 5.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING of this description, also
being a point on a 25.00 foot radius curve to the right, from which the radius point bears North
0°36'24" East;
THENCE from the POINT OF BEGINNING, along.a line lying 5.00 feet Easterly, Southerly and
parallel to said 3680 MEADOW VIEW- DRIVE PROPERTY line the following 3 courses:

COMMENCING at the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING as described in said EXHIBIT A;
THENCE along the south line of that parcel described as "3680 MEADOW VIEW DRIVE
PROPERTY" in EXHIBIT A, South 89°23'36" East, 5.62 feet to the Point of Beginning of this
Description;
THENCE North 7'25'16" East, 62.77 feet to the beginning of a 65.00 foot radius curve to the
right;
THENCE 8.01 feet along said curve through a central angle of 703'35" to a point referred to
hereinafter as POINT'A";
THENCE continuing along said curve, 71.74 feet through a central angle of 63"14'28";
THENCE North 77°43'19" East, 215.55 feet to _a point on the East line of said 3680 MEADOW
VIEW DRIVE PROPERTY also being the Point of Termination of this line.

BEGINNING at above-mentioned POINT'A';
THENCE North 53°38'48" West, 29.14 feet to a point on the Northwest line of said 3680
MEADOW VIEW DRIVE PROPERTY also being the Point of Termination of this line.
The sidelines of Line 1 and Line 2 are to be shortened or lengthened as to begin or terminate on
the interior line of the above-mentioned Public Service Easement 1.
The purpose of said easements are for the purpose to erect, install, construct, remove, repair,
replace, reconstruct, maintain and use, for public service purposes, any and all materials,
fixtures, appliances, equipment, ,pipes, pipelines, wires, cables, including fiber optics, necessary
for the transmission, distribution and delivery of electricity, water, sewer, storm water, gas,
cable television, communications and information service utilities over, along, upon, under and
across the parcel of real property.
The Grantee, by accepting this deed and real property, expressly agrees that no structures will
be built within said Public Service Easements, any changes to existing grade elevations within
said Public Service Easements must be approved by Grantor or its successors and assigns, and
that the Grantor or its successors and assigns will have unrestricted, access to said Public,Service
Easements.
